Jeffrey Quibell has been a professional Computer Programmer for over thirty years.
He earned a degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Central Missouri
State University in 1979. He is currently the owner of CPros – the computing professionals,
a local custom
software development company that has been in business since 1987 providing area businesses with high quality custom software, websites, and information technology support services.
Jeff and his wife Wanda were married in 1984, and moved to Blue Springs in the same
year. They have two daughters, Crystal and Ashley.
Jeff served the residents of District 1 as a City Councilman from April 2005 to
April 2008. As Councilman, Jeff strived to be responsive to the needs of the residents and
was available when needed. He diligently researched each issue before him
and weighed his decisions based on what he has learned through face to face discussions
with his constituents. Jeff continues to serve on the City’s visioning effort called “Renew
the Blue – Reaching Higher!” In 2008 Jeff received the National League of City's Bronze Leadership Fellow Award.
Constituents and colleagues alike often referred to him as a voice of reason on
the council.
It has been rewarding getting to know so many of the city's residents and was exciting to work to see their dreams for the city
realized. It was eye opening to see the amount of time and effort it sometimes takes
to see projects through to their completion. Jeff realizes that some things can
only be set in motion and the results may be years in the making. During his time in
office Jeff helped bring redevelopment to Highway 7 as well as new shopping
opportunities and restaurants for our residents to dine in with the Adams Dairy
Landing and Coronado Place projects. He also helped facilitate the
beginnings of the redevelopment of the area surrounding Highway 7 & Highway 40
and downtown Blue Springs.

of the
Sherwood Village Homes Association. During Crystal and Ashley's time in the
Blue Springs Schools, Jeff volunteered in the Computer Lab at James Lewis Elementary,
as a field trip chaperone with the middle school Stretch program, and worked as
a volunteer with the Music Boosters at Blue Springs High School.
Jeff is currently immediate Past-President of the Heritage Philharmonic Board of Directors.
In addition to playing cello for the Symphony, Jeff sings bass in a barbershop
gospel group known as
“The Circuit Riders”, and plays cello in a classical group called
“The Andante Quartet”.
